The low-pressure area located over West Europe will bring a bad weather front to the Alps and as the foehn wind will weaken, it will also determine the conditions in the north of the Alps. Cloudy conditions are forecast for Whit Sunday, partly heavy rain showers are expected. In the afternoon, the conditions will calm down. Stably layered air masses will determine the weather starting next week. The conditions will be variable, rain showers are forecast particularly in the afternoon and in the evening. Chances for longer sunny spells are expected in the morning and around noon. The rainy weather conditions will result in decreased temperatures, after midweek the temperatures will probably drop more significantly.
